Annual Fresh Air Market
Experience the time-honoured tradition of trading and gathering at Historic Dunvegan's annual Fresh Air Market. Get to know local artisans and the products they passionately create. Find the perfect gift or take home a special treat for yourself. Costumed interpreters will be offering tours of Historic Dunvegan's four fully restored historic buildings and activities for the whole family. Regular admission fees apply.

Guided tours of our historic buildings will start from the Visitor Centre at 11 a.m.; Noon; 1 p.m.; 2 p.m.; 2:30 p.m.; 3 p.m.; 3:30 p.m.; and 4 p.m.
Admission fees apply to take the guided tours for Adults aged 25+ ($5) and Seniors aged 65+ ($4). Thanks to the Canada Strong Pass program, youth 17 years of age and under are free and young adults aged 18-24 are half price!
Prizes! Prizes! Prizes! Each year, many of our vendors donate items for prize draws. Prize draw entries can be obtained by paying admission (adults & seniors only) and/or by making a donation of any amount to our donation box (can only done once) and/or by participating in Tricky Trivia (see below).
Duck Disaster is back! Our smallest visitors can help find the missing ducks throughout our historic buildings. If they find them all, they can choose a prize from the prize box.
Tricky Trivia! Take a tour of our four historic buildings and test your history knowledge along the way. If you're the first in the group to answer a question correctly, you'll receive an prize draw entry.
The Dunvegan Rock Garden! Help us create a rock garden filled with our community's imagination. We'll supply the rocks and paint. Drop in to the Visitor Centre any time between 11am and 5pm to paint a rock. You can take it home with you or we'll proudly display it for the rest of the summer for all to see!
Kids' Zone! Outside from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Blocks, toys, obstacle course, and water activities. Adult supervision required.
Alberta Parks Booth - Poop and Pelts! Can you identify an animal based on its poop or its pelt? Test your knowledge and learn more!
VISITING TIPS
•BRING CASH. Vendors accept CASH ONLY and there are no cash machines onsite.
•The market runs rain or shine.
•If you are able to walk, please consider parking further away from the market in the second loop of the paved lot or the gravel lot to the west of the site entrance. The first loop of the paved lot to the east of the Visitor Centre is reserved for those with limited mobility (those with walking aids, parents with strollers, etc.). There is also parking available west of the bridge in the field behind the Factor's House (white building).
For everyone's safety, please do not park along roadways or in ditches!
•Food is available from the JJ's Concession Food Truck at the market. Dunvegan Market Gardens (approximately 1 km east of the Visitor Centre) also has a kitchen and will be open from noon to 5pm. There are day use areas with picnic tables if you wish to bring your own food.
